Down In The Dump (ster)

Many of our friendly neighborhoods here in Shelby "share" a "communal" dumpster as well as the individuals "rollouts." The City of Shelby is asking our residents to please be considerate of our neighbors AND dependable garbage collector when you're filling the dumpster. Large items hanging out & over the edges prevent the garbage collector from picking up the dumpster & properly dumping it. This does nobody any good!! Likewise, tree branches take up so much space in the dumpster some residents have had a difficult time putting their own household garbage in! Besides that, items left "near" the dumpster are NOT able to be picked up. Don't worry about a thing...the landfill has a large container for trees branches & compostable materials. If you're unable to take a large item to our landfill, you can call the Shelby City Shop at 434 5564.
