2019 CMA Awards: Miranda Lambert, Chris Stapleton + More Among First Announced Performers
With the 2019 CMA Awards only a few weeks away, the Country Music Association has begun to announce the list of performers for Country Music's Biggest Night. Miranda Lambert, Chris Stapleton and more will be taking the stage this year.
In addition to Lambert and Stapleton, who will be performing with pop star Pink, the first round of 2019 CMA Awards performers includes Eric Church, Luke Combs, Reba McEntire, Maren Morris, Dolly Parton with for King & Country and Zach Williams, Carrie Underwood and Keith Urban. Stapleton and Pink will be singing their collaboration "Love Me Anyway," while Parton has promised a faith-filled performance of "God Only Knows," "There Was Jesus" and "Faith," the latter of which is a new, not-yet-released song from Parton.
According to a press release, Church will be singing his single "Some of It," Combs will play his megahit "Beer Never Broke My Heart" and McEntire will perform "Fancy." Lambert, meanwhile, will bring her single "It All Comes Out in the Wash" to the stage, Morris will sing the CMA-nominated "Girl," Underwood will play a Cry Pretty album cut, "Drinking Alone," and Urban will be performing his single "We Were."
The 2019 CMA Awards are scheduled to air on ABC on Nov. 13, at 8PM ET; the ceremony will take place live at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena. McEntire, Parton and Underwood will co-host the event, which will also be highlighting some of country music's female artists. Additional performers, as well as a list of presenters, will be announced in the coming weeks.
