The North Toole County Fire Department up in Sunburst will be conducting a mock accident drill at the high school football field in Sunburst this afternoon (Thursday) at 2 o'clock. This will be a simulated motor vehicle accident meant to demonstrate the dangers of distracted driving, show the students what various agencies do on an accident scene, & let the students see how the extrication equipment works. Agencies partnering with the North Toole County Volunteer Fire Department include the U.S. Border Patrol, Toole County Ambulance, Sunburst School District, Toole County Sheriff's Office, MSU Fire Services Training School, & Mercy Flight. This afternoon's activity is being made possible via a $1000 grant from AAA of Montana which paid for key chains & bookmarks given to the students, posters to hang in the schools for the next 2 years, & 2 DVD's that will be given to the NTCHS drivers' education program. The North Toole County Volunteer Fire Department in Sunburst proudly serving their friends & neighbors in North Toole County & beyond. Be aware-stay alive!
