WWII B-17 Flying Fortress to Land in Cut Bank
The WWII B-17G bomber, “Sentimental Journey” is scheduled to be on display and available for rides and tours from September 10 – 13 at Cut Bank International Airport.
Airplane enthusiasts, children and history buffs will want to see this famous aircraft of World War II. The bomber is maintained and operated as a flying museum and memorial by the all-volunteer non-profit Commemorative Air Force.
The CAF Arizona Wing Aviation Museum is located in Mesa, Arizona at Falcon Field Airport.
The WWII Flying Fortress “Sentimental Journey” is the most fully restored B-17 flying today. There are only approximately 5 B-17 Flying Fortresses still flying in the world.
