Simon & Garfunkel were wondering about that back in 1968. Well, for one thing, the man’s in a book! And not just the infamous “Yankee Clipper”, but also his 2 brothers to boot!. The new hardcover from HarperCollins Publishers is “The DiMaggios:Three Brothers, Their Passion for Baseball, Their Pursuit of the American Dream”. The author is Tom Clavin & this book is worth havin”! I’ll be giving it away as my prize tomorrow morning, Saturday, on Puffman Sports Trivia at 7:30. Kirkus Reviews raves, “A fine biography of the greatest brother combination ever to play major league baseball. It is a strength of this evocative book that while Joe remains the legend, Dominic comes across as the most admirable DiMaggio in the end.
