We’re Doing The Monster Mulch

It seems every year at this time, we hear Bobby "Boris" Pickett belting out "The Monster Mash. I think I speak for many of us when I say that we've all heard that tune one time too many!. This Saturday, down in Conrad, it's not "the mash", it's "the mulch". The Conrad Garden Club is holding a program on "To Mulch Or Not To Mulch". This earthy program is being presented by County Extension Agent Dan Picard at 10 Saturday morning at the Conrad Christian School west of Conrad. Dan-The-Extension-Man is no stranger to our KSEN/K 96 listeners here in the Golden Triangle...Dan's on the radio every Friday during the noon hour with his informative & enlightening Extension Report. See you Saturday in Conrad as we find out whether to mulch or forget about it! Myself? I feel that it is probably a good idea in most cases & it's one of those things, in that, if you don't do it, you may very well look back on it & wish you had. Put me down for mulching.
