USDA Invites Producers & Small Businesses to REAP Energy Savings

USDA Rural Development has issued a notice of solicitation of applications for the Rural Energy for America Program (REAP). The REAP is designed to help agricultural producers and rural small businesses reduce energy costs and consumption and help meet the Nation’s critical energy needs.  REAP has two types of funding assistance: (1) Renewable Energy Systems and Energy Efficiency Improvements Assistance, and (2) Energy Audit and Renewable Energy Development Assistance Grants.  Application materials may be obtained by contacting the Rural Development’s Energy Coordinator for the State of Montana.
