They'll be doing exactly that tomorrow (Saturday) night in Cut Bank as the Cut Bank Chamber presents their annual Festival of Lights. As David Kennedy often says, "Saturday is going to be a spectacular day in Car Town". The Distinguished Young Women Christmas Bazaar will be going on at the Cut Bank High School gym tomorrow (Saturday) from 10AM to 4PM and ol' Santa himself will there in person from 10 until 2. The Wishing Well Ladies annual Cheesecake Bake Off starts at 11 in the morning...be sure and save a piece or two for Santa...and the Special Olympics Hi Line Polar Plunge is scheduled for City Park with registration at 1 and then the plunging and freezing at 3. The Festival of Lights parade gets underway at 6 at Glacier Motors and will end up at the Parkview Senior Center parking lot. Don't worry about getting too cold...when the parade's over, there will be plenty of hot chocolate, coffee, apple cider and cookies at the Joe Meagher Civic Center. Living on the Hi Line is special and this annual Festival of Lights makes it all the more so. See you tomorrow in Car Town.
