Fans won't be seeing more photos of Tim McGraw and Faith Hill on social media anytime soon -- and that's just the way they like it. The country icon sat down with Billboard to talk about his 20-year career and why he and his wife like to keep their relationship out of the public eye.

McGraw has just released his newest studio album, which features 'Meanwhile Back At Mama's,' a duet with Hill, his wife of 18 years. But despite the couple's shared fame and unlike other famous marriages (see: Jay-Z and Beyonce), McGraw and Hill prefer to keep their personal life as private as possible.

"We don't really pay that much attention to it," McGraw says with a laugh when asked about he and Hill's lack of presence on social media. "We just sort of move on with our life and put the blinders on when you get stuff like that. We wake up every morning, take our kids to school, get involved with all they're doing. It just doesn't even come across our radar."

The singer, who has seen countless No. 1 hits since his 1994 single 'Not a Moment Too Soon,' says he's always on the lookout for ways to keep his music fresh and unpredictable. Case in point: his recent single 'Lookin' for That Girl' features auto-tuned vocals that, while not aiming to shock people, do add a new sound to his repertoire. For a career that's stayed strong for over two decades, McGraw says stretching the limits of his music is as good for him as it is for his fans.

"Some days it feels like I've been doing it forever and some days it feels like I'm just scratching the surface," says the singer about his 20 years in the spotlight. "I'm at that point in my career where there's confidence in what I do, but I also feel like I've still got so far to go and so much to learn. That's the perfect combination."

Well, it looks like McGraw's desire to push the boundaries is paying off. His thirteenth studio album, 'Sundown Heaven Town,' hit shelves Tuesday (Sept. 16) and is already receiving rave reviews.
