Conrad head football Coach Mick Morris opened a national letter of intent signing event in Conrad by saying that only five percent of high school athletes get a chance to move on and participate in college sports. With that in mind, it’s certainly impressive that a small, rural high school, like Conrad has three.
Signing on the dotted line on Wednesday were seniors Clark Judisch, Logan Garman and Kyle Murack.
Morris noted in regard to Judisch, that college coaches really like his size at six foot four, his arm strength and overall, he may be one of the best quarterback prospects in the state. Judisch will attend Montana Tech in Butte and says the thought of playing quarterback at the college level is a dream come true, but education was a big consideration as well, as he plans to pursue a degree in engineering.
Logan Garman will golf at Rocky Mountain College in Billings and told us that his coach, Todd Truscott, played there and was a big influence. Garman, too, says educational opportunities were important and he’ll participate in a co-aviation program there. Garman was the Cowboys’ number one golfer the past two years and a member of last years’ divisional championship team.
And the third athlete, Kyle Murack also plans to attend Montana Tech and play football. He was a two time all-conference lineman for the Cowboys and Coach Morris said he may be among the best line prospects in the state. Kyle agreed that offensive lineman may not get the credit they deserve all the time, but teammates and college coaches know the importance of them.
We’ll be keeping an eye on them in the future…Clark Judisch and Kyle Murack, signing with Montana Tech in Butte to play football and Logan Garman to become a golfer at Rocky Mountain College in Billings.
