That's who we're reading all about up at the Marias Heritage Center here in Shelby on Tuesday evenings during Montana History. I'll be there at 6 o'clock tonight (Tuesday) to read more of the book, "To Speak Of Love Was Not Enough" by Dorothy (Mrs. Louis) Floerchinger. It's the biography of Daniel & Panayiota McCorkle, a man & his wife who gave completely of themselves, ignoring criticisms & abuse, & facing seemingly insurmountable problems because they believed so strongly in their mission, to serve those less strong. AND...they did it right here in the Golden Triangle down in the Conrad area. We just started the book last week (it's a GOOD one) & this evening at the Heritage, we'll continue to follow the McCorkle's dream. I'm already looking forward to reading more Montana History tonight at the Heritage Center.
