The Golden Age

It was the 50’s…it was the Golden Age Of television & the new novel that I’m giving away this afternoon (Monday) on Puffman Musical Trivia at 4:30 is a fun read for any of us who remember back when “television WAS television.” This tome from Julian David Stone is a neat novel entitled “The Strange Birth, Short Life, and Sudden Death of Justice Girl.” It’s all about the life & death of live television & this historical fiction book dives into the history & politics of the 1950’s Golden Age of Television. Speaking of the Golden Age…I have a Puffman Musical Trivia question about the guy who was married to the sultry Julie London on this afternoon’s program. Be the 1st caller in & win this riveting read that’s a real romp in the swinging, swirling world of LIVE TV. “The Strange Birth, Short Life, and Sudden Death of Justice Girl” is now available this week nationwide in paperback & ebook form on You don’t have to tell me about the “Golden Age of Television”…I’m the Puffman & I’m living the “Golden Age of Radio” right here at AM 1150 spinning the golden oldies…”Good As Gold” we like to call them!
