 If you are a woman 40 or older who wants to be more active and achieve a healthier weight, you may qualify for an exciting new research study in Choteau.

You could earn up to $250 for your participation!

 Strong Hearts for Montana is a heart disease prevention study for rural towns.  Teton County will be randomly selected to offer one of the two programs below starting in October, 2015.

1.  Strong Hearts, Healthy Communities

This program will meet twice per week on Mondays and Wednesdays, for one hour each time, for approximately 6 months at the Choteau Library.   

Participants will learn and practice good nutrition and physical activity for improved individual, family and community health.  

2.  Strong Hearts, Healthy Women

This program will meet once per month on Mondays or Wednesdays at Choteau Library for an hour each time, for 6 months.

Participants will learn and discuss techniques and strategies to improve personal health.
