Tonight's (Thursday) the night for Valier's Annual Christmas Stroll & it looks like another good one! The Baptist, Catholic, Lutheran & Methodist churches will all have booths, & the Friends of the Library will be there selling homemade candy at the Civic Center. Valier High School's FCCLA members are conducting their annual fundraiser & they'll be out in force serving up a tasty meal. Santa & his elves, who look a lot like the Valier High School cheerleaders, will be on hand to hear the children's wish list. Thanks to the generosity of the American Legion Auxiliary & Valier Women's Community Club, they'll be handing out candy to the kids. Hayrides will be organized & provided by Ben Taylor Inc. Don't worry about the cold...the traditional fire pit & bonfire will be going like a "house on fire" to keep you warm as you stroll along this evening. LIVE Christmas trees fresh cut from Oregon will be on sale thanks to the Valier Mat Burners...they'll be set up in front of Pony Expressions. This evening's stroll in Valier is being organized by the Valier Area Development Corporation (VADC) & all the fun & frivolity gets underway at 5:30 this afternoon. It truly is "Beginning to look a lot like Christmas." Looking forward to seeing you tonight at Valier's Annual Christmas Stroll.
