Suspended Blackfeet Tribal Business Council Member Suing

HELENA, Mont. (AP) — A suspended member of the Blackfeet Tribal Business Council is suing to be reinstated. Cheryl Little Dog is among five council members suspended over the past year amid a struggle for control of the nine-member governing body. Little Dog claims in her lawsuit filed in tribal court today that a faction led by Chairman Willie Sharp Jr. illegally suspended her last August.
