Head to Dutton Saturday for Fun Day Celebrations

It's another Dutton Fun Day all day tomorrow, Saturday. This day of celebration of activities and FUN for the entire family is designed as a FUNdraiser to support Dutton's swimming pool and recreation complex.

It all starts tomorrow morning at 7 with the Civic Club breakfast. There's a FUN Run beginning at 8 for 5K & 1 mile with registration from 7 to 8.

The parade line-up will be on the west end of Main and once the FUN run winners are announced around a quarter to 11, the main parade should kick off. The parade theme this year is "Tropical Islands" and there will even be a kid's parade prior to the "Big Parade" at 11.

Right after the parade, the car show should be underway on Legion Lawn. Beginning at 1, there will be carnival games in the park along with a horseshoe tournament. The food court & BAR B Q also starts at  east of the swimming pool.

There's face painting going on at the tennis courts along with a silent auction at the north end of the courts. RC car racing will be happening on the tennis courts too with a chance to win $25!

No Dutton FUN day would be complete without fireworks in the evening. My favorite band, Up North will be on hand too and these guys can do Eagles songs better than the Eagles!

I'm looking forward to tomorrow and seeing all of you in the parade. I believe last year I was right behind the infamous Tea Party float. Hard telling where I'll end up tomorrow.
