The Montana’s Outdoor Legacy Foundation and BNSF Railway have joined forces to bring Shane Clouse and the StompinGround Band to four communities in Montana as part of an educational tour for the Montana’s Outdoor Legacy Foundation (formerly FWP Foundation).   Clouse will perform in Great Falls on Sept. 24, in Helena on Sept. 25, in Lewistown on Oct. 1, and in Billings on Oct. 2.

Shane has been a long-time promoter of Montana’s outdoor traditions.   He advocates through his music and songs, such as Montana Matters, for balance among conservation, ranching and commerce to protect the quality of life enjoyed in the Big Sky State.   Clouse’s philosophy is in line with the mission of the Legacy Foundation as it works to protect wild places while bridging public access and private enterprise.

BNSF Railway is a major supporter of the Legacy Foundation and works closely with Montana Fish Wildlife and Parks, the Great Northern Environmental Stewardship Area, and others to support wildlife and public lands management.

The concerts are open to the public with a $20 donation that will not only get folks in the concert but they will receive a brand new CD from Shane Clouse.   The donation will benefit education and wildlife initiatives through the Legacy Foundation.

The Montana’s Outdoor Legacy Foundation works through three core initiatives of wildlife management, education and access/common ground to ensure that our outdoor spaces are accessible for recreation while at the same time we are working to maintain a healthy ecosystem and ensuring wild things and people can coexist.

Shane Clouse and the StompinGround Band have toured across the country.   Shane is a Montana native and lives in Florence, MT.   His country music style has developed a strong following across the state, and he and the StompinGround Band were the opening act for Clint Black.
