A photo by Havre farm & ranch photographer Todd Klassy was AWARDED top prize yesterday (Friday) in an international photography competition yesterday & this was the 1st time the award was given to a photographer from the United States in 14 years! The Star Prize for Agricultural Photography presented by the International Federation of Agriculture Journalists (IFAJ) recognizes excellence in agricultural photography from around the world. Todd's award was presented at the 2016 IFAJ Congress in Bonn, Germany. Todd learned he won the award when he received a text message from Germany where the awards ceremony was taking place. The Havre farm & ranch photographer specializes in farm & ranch photography & making travel related photos of our beautiful state of Montana. Todd was recently distinguished as the 19th "Montana Treasured Artist" by the state of Montana. His photos have been published by American Cowboy, Montana Magazine, People, Popular Photography, Sports Illustrated, Western Horseman & many other publications, websites & books. Me? I'm not a professional like Todd...I still use the $9.99 "disposable cameras & my biggest challenge is finding some place somewhere where they still develop the film...
