“After 5 years at the Red Cross, I am excited to build on my predecessors’ efforts to serve Montana,” said Wright. “I look forward to working even more closely with our dedicated volunteers, employees, board members, community partners and donors to strengthen our Montana communities and help people in need.”

Wright joined American Red Cross in 2010, soon after moving to Montana. She has over 25 years of nonprofit experience in the areas of fundraising, marketing/brand management, volunteer management, media relations, communications, strategic planning, and operations. Prior to joining the Red Cross, Wright worked for United Way in Charlotte, North Carolina and Spokane, Washington, where she served as Senior Vice President of Resource Development and Regional Operations, Vice President of Marketing and Communications, and Volunteer Center Director. Wright is a University of North Carolina-Charlotte alumnus with a BA in Human Services. She is a Rotarian and spends most of her leisure time snow skiing, fly fishing and finding other ways to enjoy the beautiful Montana outdoors.

The American Red Cross prevents and alleviates human suffering in the face of emergencies by mobilizing the power of volunteers and the generosity of donors. Through its strong network of volunteers, donors and partners, the Red Cross is always there in times of need: when disasters strike, when military families need help, or through its lifesaving blood collection efforts and health and safety classes.
