Rails across Canada

Few stories in the annals of railroading are as compelling as the construction, evolution, and astounding successes of the Canadian Pacific and Canadian National railways. That's what Tom Murray says and Tom should know. He's the author of "Rails Across Canada-The History of Canadian Pacific and Canadian National Railways". Tom will be joining me this afternoon at 4:35 on the Puffman Show.Tom's book (it's one of those beautiful "coffee table" books) is fastidiously researched and includes more than 300 photographs, including rare archival black-and-white images and modern and period color photography sourced from national archives and private collections. Living up here on the Hi Line and the main line of the infamous Empire Builder, I think all of us relate to railroading in one way or the other. As our mayor, His Worship, the Honorable Larry J.
