Klinker's play led the Eagles to a third-place win over Shelby and then a grueling three to two win over Choteau in the first championship of the Northern B Divisional tournament last weekend. Fairfield also took Choteau to a full five games in the second championship before losing three to two. Klinker had an amazing 21 kills in that first championship and17 in the second. She also recorded ten blocks in the three matches. Fairfield coach Courtney Bake says it really has been just the past two weeks that Klinker has started hitting solid and making great contact, just in time for tournaments.
