Our Old Fishing Hole

Just the other day, I was thinking about our "Old Fishing Hole" program & wondering how long it would be until spring & I get the opportunity to host the program again. I've already talked with Bob Kovatch at Lake Francis down in Valier & invited him to join us on our 1st broadcast this spring! Speaking of fishing, I note that the Babb/St. Mary Volunteer Fire Department's Annual Ice Fishing Derby is set for THIS weekend. The derby starts both this Saturday & Sunday morning at 8 sharp. The prizes (& there are so good ones this year!) for the longest fish will be awarded on Sunday. I might mention that Blackfeet Tribal fishing licenses will be waived during the ice fishing derby hours this weekend. I'll try to get back to you in a later blog next week & share the results of this weekend's durable derby.
