The Cut Bank Volunteer Fire Department responded to a fire call shortly after 9 o'clock last nigth at the M&M Recycling facility along Railroad Street. Fire Chief Mark Kropp said the fire was mainly along the west wall of the south shop at the facility, but there were no flames by the time firefighters arrived. Damage to the building was primarily from smoke and water. Insurance investigators will investigate the cause of the fire and the extent of the damage. The phone lines to M&M Recycling have been out of order throughout the morning. There were no injuries as a result of the fire.
