Miranda Lambert ended 2013 on a high note. She was enjoying a weekend at the the Deer Valley Celebrity Skifest in Deer Valley, Utah when she found out she had been nominated for a Grammy for one of her favorite songs.

Lambert's nomination for Best Country Solo Performance comes for her No. 1 single, 'Mama's Broken Heart' -- the Platinum track holds a special place in her heart.

“I'm so thrilled to have a Grammy nomination with such a great song," the Oklahoma star says. “'Mama's Broken Heart' is one of my favorite songs I have recorded."

She adds, "It's also unique to be in the same category with my very talented husband. I am proud to be part of the wonderful country music family!”

Yep, Lambert goes head to head with husband Blake Shelton in the 2014 Grammys category. Shelton is nominated for 'Mine Would Be You.' With those odds, there's a good chance the Shelton-Lambert household will house one new award come the end of the month. Of course, Shelton says he doesn't care who wins, he just wants one for the home they share.

A win for Lambert wouldn't be her first Grammy. She won in 2010 for 'The House That Built Me' in the Best Female Country Vocal Performance category.

The 2014 Grammy Awards air Sunday, Jan. 26, on CBS. Lambert and Shelton will go up against Lee Brice, Hunter Hayes and Darius Rucker for Best Solo Country Performance.
