Winners in Life Busted Leaving Meth as Tip for Waitress

Ryan Bensen, Erica Manley
Seaside Police Department

This is not the kind of tip servers want to get.

Police in Seaside, Oregon recently arrested Ryan Bensen, 40, and Erica Manley, 37, after they tried to leave a waitress at the Twisted Fish Steakhouse an envelope filled with methamphetamine as a tip.

The waitress was not receptive to the gesture and called police, who arrived to arrest the duo.

A subsequent search found more meth in Manley’s purse, as well as in their hotel room and car.
