This cookbook CELEBRATES the Western tradition & includes the voices & dishes of varied & prolific authors. Filled with more than 150 recipes, anecdotes, & stories from some of America's most popular writers & personalities, this collaborative effort includes recipes for drinks, appetizers, main dishes, side dishes, desserts, & FUN extras, as well as stories from & profiles of the contributors. Montana rancher Quackgrass Sally is one of the featured authors. I can't wait to cook up her "Myrna's Marvelous Mashed Ranch Taters, not to mention her mom's pie crust recipe.
