Lou Dobbs Accuses ‘The Lorax’ of ‘Indoctrinating’ Our Children

According to Fox Business host Lou Dobbs, two new animated children’s movies — ‘The Secret World of Arrietty’ and ‘Dr Seuss’ The Lorax’ — are part of a plot by Hollywood and the Obama administration to “indoctrinate our children” with their liberal agenda.

It’s worth pointing out that both movies are based on classic children’s books that were published more than 30 years ago, and neither film deviates wildly from its source material in terms of plot. (‘The Secret World of Arrietty’ is based on ‘The Borrowers.’) Still, Dobbs argues that both films “demonize the so-called one percent.”

“The President’s liberal friends in Hollywood [are] targeting a younger demographic using animated movies to sell their agenda to children,” said Dobbs.

What do you think? Is ‘The Lorax’ preaching a leftist pro-environmental message? Or is it just a cute Dr. Seuss movie? Are both movies part of some sinister leftist conspiracy to brainwash our children? Or is Dobbs off his rocker?
