The City of Shelby and Toole County Extension Office are pleased to bring Bruce Forde of Forde Nursery to Shelby for a free landscape design; tree selection, care & maintenance workshop on Wednesday, June 6th. Bruce has been involved in the nursery business since high school, opening Forde Nursery in Great Falls in 1980. Forde Nursery landscaping division has distinguished itself as one of the leading design/build firms in the state.  Their mission is to provide customers with the highest-quality, hardy plant materials to ensure landscaping projects are successful though education and personal assistance.

Bruce has offered to come to Shelby to offer a free workshop on species varieties favorable to our climate conditions; proper planting and care; and landscape design ideas. Bruce will be bringing live plant samples with him so you can see the plants look like. The workshop will take place at the Marias River Electric hospitality room on Wednesday, June 6th beginning at 7:00pm.  If you are interested please contact the Toole County Extension Office to register as group size is limited.
