Dupuyer Grizzly Days are set for this coming weekend & the weekend promises to be more than "GRIZZLY"! Ross Drisinski will be joining me this afternoon (Tuesday) at 2:30 on the Puffman Show to highlight all the activities that are on tap. The infamous Firemens' Pancake Breakfast will be held at the Dupuyer Fire Hall Saturday morning from 7 until 9:30. There'll be a Community Rummage & Bake Sale at Community Hall throughout the day on Saturday with all proceeds donated to the Dupuyer Community Club. The vendor booths & the Dupuyer History Booth open up at 10. There's even a car wash going from 8:30 to 10:30 Saturday morning. The Big Parade starts rolling at 11 with line-up on Columbus Avenue at 10:30. The Grand Marshalls this year will be the Sullivans...Jim & Maryann. There's a ton of fun too on Saturday afternoon with the Dupuyer Express, miniature train rides & a horse drawn wagon with rides in AND around town from 1 until 4. Talk about "family friendly entertainment...there'll be children's games & contests & crafts along with a bounce house & cake walk, face painting, tricycle drag drag races (kids & adults) along with food & beverages. Why not try a "Scoop in Dupe" for a variety of hard ice cream in a cone or in a dish with all proceeds donated to the Dupuyer Community Club. When you start working up a hunger, Pierre's Bar & Grill will be on the scene serving up a roast pork dinner for a lunch special. That big ol' bus will be there...Wanda (Liza) Augare will be running the food bus concessions. The Valier Women's Club will be selling taco's in a bag. There will be music in Town Square with T.E.E. Country from noon until 2 & there's a horse shoe toss at the Dupuyer Cache. In fact, there's so much going on during Grizzly Days this weekend that I'm running out of letters on my Puffman Blog machine. I'll be back later in the week with more of the Grizzly Days activities this weekend in Dupuyer. In the meantime, tune in this afternoon at 2:30 when Ross Drisinski comes on the Puffman Show to talk "Grizzly"! What's your favorite kind of hard ice cream when you get a "Scoop in a Dupe? Mine's huckleberry! I'd like to hear from you on my Puffman Blog.
