The Toole County Friends Of The Library will be meeting at today (Tuesday) at High Noon at...where else...the LIBRARY! AND speaking of books, I'll beup at the Marias Heritage Center here in Shelby tonight at 6 to read & share more Montana History. We're rounding 3rd & heading for home in Montana author Rick Sterry's tome "Blizzard of '32", & it's been a real reading pleasure. However, last week, the old lady died at the dance & it was a real bummer. The family essentially moved her to the bedroom, built a cheap wooden casket, dug a hole, the father drank a couple of stiff belts, & the rest of the family cried. Cried?..."Wailed" would be a better description. The only "upside" of this deal was the fact the woman was at the big dance having FUN for one of the few times in her miserable life, & I guess if one has to go, nothing like the infamous Fulps playing "On Moonlight Bay" at the dance...the tall one playing the drums, the other Fulp, the trumpet. Take me out of here. See you tonight at 6 at the Heritage Center for more Montana History. At this point, I'm just praying that "Blizzard of '32" doesn't have a sad ending that will make me cry (and/or wail) during Montana History at the Heritage.
