This Saturday, the 6th of August, marks this summer's Grizzly Day celebration in Dupuyer. I've been there a time or two before and I can't wait to go back this year. Of course, on the way, I'll stop by the Lighthouse and chew the fat about fishing with Bob Kovatch who's a great asset to my Old Fishing Hole program. Bob's even funnier in person than he is on the program if you can believe that! The Grizzly Day parade starts at 11 Saturday morning in Dupuyer with units forming a line on Columbus Avenue at 10:30. These Grizzly Day parades are always fun and this year's promises antique tractors along with some modern ones, antique and classic cars, old machinery (I'm bringing some of Jerry Black's old radio station equipment), floats, riding units, and of course our KSEN/K 96 Radio Active News vehicle. Every year that I go to Dupuyer for Grizzly Day, the folks really make me feel welcome and this is just another one of the rewards of being in broadcasting here in north central Montana. I hope to see all of you for the 2011 Grizzly Day Parade this Saturday morning in Dupuyer. You might plan to RIZZ early because things are going to get real GRIZZZZZ-ly. I'd best end my Puffman Blog for today right here...
