OLDER than the hills, that's how old & it's that's the title of the new tome we'll start reading this evening (Tuesday) up at the Marias Heritage Center here in Shelby. Evelyn D. Aiken, the author, says, "Best Wishes to all from the Best Place on Earth, THE SWEETGRASS HILLS." That's where Evelyn's from & she writes from her roots, the BEST way to write if you ask me. Looking forward to reading & sharing MORE Montana History starting at 6 o'clock SHARP tonight at the Marias Heritage Center. It's my pleasure to read for the residents there every Tuesday evening. Thanks also to Heritage Center resident Marie Ostrem for sharing "Half Interest in a Silver Dollar: The Saga of Charles E. Conrad" with all of us. I don't want to say that it was a longggggggggg....... book, but it seems like Harry S. Truman was running for president when we started the book!
