Dr. Clem C. Pellet, a Mayo Clinic trained Board Certified Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon formerly from Great Falls & author of the new crime novel, "Dastardly", will be making his 1st Hi-Line speaking presentation at 2:30 this Friday afternoon up at the Marias Heritage Center here in Shelby. Friday's program is FREE & open to the public.Without any previous investigative experience, Dr. Pellett initiated his own cold case investigation & one year later succeeded in bringing killer Frank Dryman to justice. Back in 1951, before Dr. Pellett was born, his grandfather was murdered in cold blood up here in Toole County by hitchhiker Frank Dryman. Shortly after, the resulting emotional suffering splintered the Pellett family. As a consequence, the doc spent his life WITHOUT an extended family, (no aunts, uncles, cousins or grandparents!) or any real knowledge of the event. Inspired by his successful quest tracking down the murderer (Frank Dryman) of his grandfather, Dr. Pellett recently changed careers from dentistry to writing, public speaking & investigation. This has to beat saying "Open wide" 10 or 20 times a day! This former dental practitioner has been featured on both national & international media including the A&E Biography Channel, CBS news, CNN Justice, the New York Daily News & as a published crime novelist with his book "Dastardly", a fictional account of his true story. "Dastardly: The Story is Fiction...the Evil is Real". Following Dr. Pellett's Friday afternoon 2:30 presentation at the Heritage, he will be signing copies of "Dastardly", with ALL proceeds going to the Marias Heritage Center. For more information contact: Judy Richmond or Tia Emerson up at the Heritage at 434 3290. It's a great read & is available from Amazon, Barnes & Noble, & the doctor himself. If YOU or your family have special memories of the "Dryman Case", please contact Dr. Pellett at: dastardly2011@gmail.com. Where is the devious Dryman hanging his hat these days? He's back in the slammer for old & sick convicts here in central Montana with a parole hearing scheduled in the near future!. What I have learned from this mess? The wheels of justice grind SLOWLY but surely & I guess you should never trust a character who runs a wedding chapel in Las Vegas! See you this Friday afternoon at 2:30 at the Marias Heritage Center. & Dr. Pellett...Welcome back to the Hi-Line! See you this Friday afternoon at 2:30 at the Marias Heritage Center.
