Montana’s Outdoor Legacy Foundation (formerly Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks Foundation) works to maintain and grow access to public lands in order to preserve the great outdoor experience that makes Montana unique. The Glacier Bank team supports this mission and recently donated the wetland acreage along the Flathead River near Bigfork.  “Outdoor activities are at the core of Montana values and economic growth.  We are delighted to be able to provide one more point of access to enjoying the quality of life that makes Montana a special place to life and do business”, says Dennis Beams of Glacier Bank. This gift provides the public with quality access to the canal and, because the acreage is adjacent to the USFS Waterfowl Protection area, it significantly enhances the area’s wetland habitat. “Caring for and growing Montana’s rich outdoor legacy including its fish, wildlife, flora and recreational resources takes many partners.  Glacier Bank’s donation is a true gift to all of us in Montana”, says George Bettas, Executive Director.
