Get rid of your EWaste for FREE!

DEQ and the local recycling programs will be doing a “FREE” ewaste collection.
Conrad and Valier will be doing local collections. Conrad will be on August 14th and 15th from 4 PM to 8 PM at the Pondera Center at 311 S Virginia St.
Valier will be doing their collection on August 13th from 2 PM to 5 PM and 14th from 3 PM to 7 PM at the Valier Public Library Parking lot, 400 Teton Ave.
E-Waste is defined as any electronic equipment that has reached its ‘end-of-life’, or ‘end of usage’, whether working or non-working condition. E-Waste includes: Television sets, Computer Monitors, Computers, Laptops, Printers, Copiers, Scanner, Fax Machine, Servers, Main Frame Units, Networking Equipment, Systems, Printed Circuit Boards, Telephones and Cellular Phones, Stereos, DVD player and other consumer electronics. Batteries with contacts taped.
We will NOT be taking appliances, wood speakers or console tv frames.
Previously we have had two ewaste collections but there was a cost. This program again is FREE and as far as we know a onetime offer so we encourage everyone to take advantage of it.
For more information please contact Dan Picard, MSU Extension, at 271-4053 or LeAnn Hermance, 271-4040. In Valier contact the town office at 279-3721.
