GREAT FALLS, Mont. (AP) — A former substitute teacher at Browning Middle School has reached a plea agreement after being charged with having a sexual relationship with a 14-year-old student.

The Great Falls Tribune reports 21-year-old Tyrell Lee Balibardin was charged in October with three counts of sexual abuse of a minor. Charging documents say the sexual encounters occurred in March or April of this year.

Prosecutors say Balibardin contacted the girl via Facebook and occasionally stayed at her house while her parents were gone. Investigators found Balibardin attempted to cultivate relationships with other female students, but there was no evidence those relationships became sexual.

Court records say Balibardin has reached an agreement that calls for him to plead guilty to at least one of the counts.
