First It Was Bob, Now It’s Barry

his week back in 1965, Bob Dylan was booed off the stage at the Newport Folk Festival when he began playing an ELECTRIC guitar. Now it's Barry. Barry Bowers will be playing his "electric" violin Sunday at the First Baptist Church here in Shelby. Barry will be playing his electric violin this Sunday morning at the 11 o'clock service and then again Sunday afternoon at the 5:30 service. Barry does some amazing things with the ol' vio and Sunday at the First Baptist should be more than entertaining and enlightening. In fact, I think it will be "electrifying! Hope to see you THIS Sunday at First Baptist in Shelby. And Barry, I hope it goes better for you than it did for Bob!
