BOZEMAN – Montana State University (MSU) Extension in partnership with USDA Farm Service Agency (FSA) and USDA Risk Management Agency (RMA) announced the schedule of 28 informational agricultural producer meetings in communities across Montana.

   USDA and MSU Extension are conducting the meetings to inform Montana producers about important new programs authorized by the Agricultural Act of 2014 (2014 Farm Bill). These meetings will focus on the Price Loss Coverage (PLC) and Agricultural Risk Coverage (ARC) administered by FSA and the Supplemental Coverage Option (SCO) administered by RMA through federal crop insurance providers. MSU Extension will explain the new online Farm Bill Decision Tool that will be available this fall to assist producers in understanding their options for farms and ranches.
