Elena Myers First Female To Win at Daytona and Looks Good Doing It

The first female to win a cup at the Daytona International Speedway is more than just a pretty face. She’s a pretty fast, um, face.

Elena Myers, 18, won the Daytona 200′s SuperSport class last weekend. The win makes her the first woman to win anything on the hallowed Daytona International Speedway in its 50-plus year history. She’s was also the first female to win an AMA Pro Racing motorcycle race at the Infineon Raceway in Sonoma, California when she was just 16-years-old.

This isn’t her first taste of true victory or of the Daytona raceway for that matter. She’s been riding bikes since she was 8 and won her first race after she turned 11. She turned pro at 16 and ran in her first professional race in 2010 at Daytona. She suffered a pretty nasty crash, but she managed to dust herself off and get back in the race and still finish fourth, according to her website.

It also goes without saying that’s she’s quite easy on the eyes. Easier on the eyes when not flying by at 110 MPH though.
