Dierks Bentley is a member of the million mile club. The singer just wrapped the Canadian leg of his 2012 Country & Cold Cans Tour in Winnipeg, Manitoba on Thursday, Feb. 23. Upon crossing the border to re-enter his home (or is that ‘Home?’) country of the U.S., “Old Goldie,” his tour bus, logged its millionth mile. Congrats to Bentley on all that hard work, making fans the grassroots way by hitting the road and playing shows. But more importantly, congrats to Old Goldie. It’s quite an accomplishment, even if we’re wondering if she needs a new transmission thanks to all those miles.

“Goldie has been my home on the road since I put out my very first single,” said Bentley in a statement. “A lot of memories have been made traveling across the country in Goldie, and I’ve been able to see every city and town three or four times. If you look at my guitar or my boots or my truck, you know that I love old things. I hope she makes it another million!”

Clearly, Goldie’s a keeper and so is Bentley.

Bentley is playing the San Antonio Rodeo this weekend. Then he’ll pack up and head down under for the Aussie leg of the Country & Cold Cans Tour. He’ll then return to the U.S. for a 20-city spring run. For a full list of upcoming tour dates, visit his official site.

Bentley’s latest, ‘Home,’ is out now.
