I'll say! That's the name of the book I'm currently reading in the evenings. It's the latest pot boiler from my friend, award-winning journalist & author Kathryn Casey. I thoroughly enjoy Kathryn's writing, having read several of her true crime books and having recently finished "Shattered". This "Deadly Little Secrets-The Minister, His Mistress, and a Heartless Texas Murder" should be rated "R" for Ribald! Kathryn is going to be joining me tomorrow (Thursday) afternoon long distance live from Texas during the 4 o'clock hour on the Puffman Show to discuss her book and why she enjoys true crime as much as I do. I was captivated from page 1! A man of God...driven by the devil. To his parishioners, minister Matt Baker seemed a pious and good man. To his wife, Kari, he was a devoted husband and caring father. Things seem to be going well until the music minister's blue eyed blond daughter came on the scene humming a different tune and the tune she was playing wasn't a good one. Need I say more. You might want to check out this book at most major book stores and/or Amazon.com. It's from HarperCollins publishers and is also available as an E-book. Publication date was July 31st, so not only is this tome hot off the presses, it's just plain HOT! First caller after my talk with Kathryn tomorrow will receive a free copy of "Deadly Little Secrets". I might add that two other authors I know, M. William Phelps back east in Massachusetts and Greg Olsen out in Washington state have all the praise in the world for Casey's writing and I can understand why. See you tomorrow afternoon at 4:35 for a riveting interview!
