Your Favorite Coffee May Have More (Or Less) Caffeine Than You Think

If you drink coffee for a little pick-me-up, you should know some brands will pick you up a little higher.

The Center for Science in the Public Interest has analyzed the coffee content in several brands of java.

A large cup from Dunkin’ Donuts with turbo shot comes with 436 milligrams of caffeine, compared to a regular 14 ounce cup that features only 178 milligrams.

Starbucks’ venti (that’s 20 ounces for the uninitiated) has a whopping 415 milligrams and a large 16-ounce cup of joe from McDonald’s includes a surprisingly low 133 milligrams.

Wondering how much caffeine your favorite cup of coffee has? You can check out a full roster of brands and decide just which one you’ll down to give you the jolt you need to get through the day.
