Christie Brinkley ruined many vacations in the mid and late 1980′s. After her appearance in the 1983 classic ‘National Lampoon’s Vacation’, every young man and dad stuck traveling with their kids and wife was on the lookout for a hot blonde in the Ferrari to come breezing by the family truckster. She never showed up. Luckily, the real Christie Brinkley was all over the place in the 80′s and 90′s.

Christie Brinkley was discovered in 1973 by photographer Errol Sawyer in a post office in Paris at the age of 19. He took her first modeling pictures and introduced her to John Casablancas of Elite Model Management agency. A few months later, Brinkley was already a superstar, booking three national ad campaigns and appearing on the cover of Glamour magazine. Brinkley then signed an astounding 20-year deal with Cover Girl make-up. Brinkley appeared on three consecutive Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue Edition covers (79-81) but became a household name after marrying Billy Joel in 1985.

Brinkley continues to do modeling and work with Cover Girl. In 1998, Playboy readers voted Brinkley one of the ’100 Sexiest Women of the 20th Century’ and in 2011 she was voted one of the ’100 Hottest Women of All Time’ by Men’s Health magazine. She is involved with several charities and is a vocal advocate for animal rights.

So, the question is, does Christie Brinkley ‘still have it?’
