Chris Brown, Is This The End For Him?

For Chris Brown, things just keep on getting worse.

During an interview today with 'Good Morning America,' co-host Robin Roberts openly asked the disgraced singer about his troubled past with ex-girlfriend Rihanna, who recently dropped her restraining order against him. (The restraining order stems from a 2009 incident, in which Brown violently attacked Rihanna prior to the Grammy awards.) A visibly annoyed Brown tried to keep his cool on camera, turning the subject back to his new album, 'F.A.M.E.,' in stores today.

Casey Abrams Brings Nirvana To American Idol [VIDEO]

For the first time ever, a contestant on American Idol sang a song from '90s grunge-gods Nirvana. Casey Abrams, who missed a show last week when he was hospitalized for a bowel condition, kept the drama going on Wednesday night's telecast with his out-of-left-field selection of  "Smell's Like Teen Spirit."

The reactions from judges Steven Tyler and Randy Jackson to Abrams' performance were very positive. Jennifer Lopez was a bit less enthusiastic, although she stated she still "loved" Abrams.

See a clip of Abrams' rendition for yourself:

WHERE HAVE YOU GONE JOE DIMAGGIO!?

I guess we'll find out this afternoon (Tuesday 3/1) when I talk with Jerome Charyn, author of an eloquent new book on Joe DiMaggio. Biographers have painted the private DiMaggio as a cruel, cunning man with little interest in other people, a man obsessed with his own image as the great American hero. My guest says in his book "Joe DiMaggio: The Long Vigil", that DiMaggio was a man of extremes, superbly talented on the field, but privately insecure, passive, and dysfunctional.
