A man shot in the face, not only lived, but spit the bullet out. A teenager survived being impaled by a large bamboo spike. A dying man was saved by a pizza delivery guy. (Was it thin or thick crust!)
That's what I used to call them. I was a big time wrestling fan back in the 70's & early 80's & besides seeing some great matches back in the Pittsburgh area, I got to meet some of these "living legends"
Drama, danger, delight & disappointment is what this tome is all about & I'll be reading more of it this evening (Tuesday) at the Marias Heritage Center here in Shelby. We're currently enjoying Kareen Bratt's book, "My Home's In Montana" & I've found it to be a delightful romp into an era & a way of life that is nearly unknowable except to the hardy few who still stake their claim out here on the wind swept prairies of Montana
