People can be awkward. Missed high fives, cell phone crashing-- humans are pretty darn good at making things hilariously embarrassing. Luckily for our own entertainment purposes, we've discovered another variety of awkward masters-- animals!

Bird watchers around the world have a rare opportunity to study the development of a new family of Long-Eared Owls, thanks to a new "owl cam" set up by the Owl Research Institute in Charlo. Researcher Denver Holt tells the Associated Press he has banded over 1700 of the birds and found over 225 nests in Montana, but this will be his first chance to study the nocturnal birds' child-rearin

Last week we introduced you to the phenomenon that is hedgehog GIFs. It’s a simple yet totally effective concept when it comes to cheering up. But have you yet discovered the power of the penguin? They have been spotted up on the Rocky Mountain Front and will be wandering our way if they are not already here.  In the last few years Grizzly Bears have been spotted along Lake Elwell/Tiber Reservoir, along the Teton River, Marias River, and even down to Loma on the Missouri River...

The Westminster Dog show, which is a lot like the Super Bowl for dog owners and possibly their pets too, already has its list of who could win the coveted title of "Best in Show."

The public has spoken and Monopoly will cast away the boring old iron token, a symbol of domestic housework from a simpler time (it's not even an electric iron), which has been included in the board game for almost 80 years. In its place will be a cat. Hey, are you really that surprised? The internet loves cats.

Like they typically do, Budweiser will be featuring their famous Clydesdales in one of their 2013 Super Bowl commercials. We're still not quite sure what they signify. (Budweiser: so good even a giant horse will drink it?)
