Both The Fun AND The Word Are In The Air

I blogged earlier about the Block Party this Sunday here in Shelby to officially kick off Vacation Bible School at the First Baptist Church. Their Vacation Bible School Iwill run this coming Monday through Thursday from 9 to noon. Four days of fun AND learning for pre-kindergarten through 12th grade and transportation will be provided to and from the church this week. Over in Cut Bank, the First Presbyterian Church will be holding their Vacation Bible School beginning this coming Monday and continuing through Friday. Hours are from 9 to 1 for ages kindergarten through 6th grade. For more information, the number to call in Cut Bank is 873 4337. Down in Conrad, there's a crusade with Ron Benner at the Conrad High School auditorium Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday evenings of next week beginning at 7 every night. There's even a free barbecue on Tuesday at 5. I had a chance to hear Pastor Ron on our morning show earlier this week and I was very impressed. Started quite young in the ministry and has something like 40 some years experience and, I feel, would be more than interesting to hear. This is indeed, a VERY special week here in the Golden Triangle.
