Blake Shelton has announced a free performance coming up in Music City.

The country superstar teased the news via Twitter on Friday (Sept. 18), first writing,"I’ve got a secret…who wants to hear it?!?!?!"

He followed up a minute later with, "My managers and label are #gonna kill me for telling y’all…but who gives a s--t!"

After that, Shelton revealed his big surprise, writing, "I’m playing a FREE outdoor concert, next Wednesday Sept. 23 at 5:30 PM out in front of my label, Warner Music Nashville. #PickinOnThePatio."

Shelton is set to release a greatest hits collection titled Reloaded: 20 #1 Hits on Oct. 23, which includes his first-ever No. 1 hit, “Austin,” as well as more recent hits like “My Eyes” and “Lonely Tonight.” The collection also features Shelton’s current single, “Gonna,” as a bonus track.

He's also been back to work on the set of The Voice. The new season premieres Monday (Sept. 21), and Shelton has drafted fellow country star Brad Paisley as an adviser to his team.

“He’s really been good to me, and so the fact that I was able to get him here and and advise my team made perfect sense to me because he was actually a mentor for me,” Shelton tells People.

“If you know anything about country music, you know who Brad Paisley is. He’s Entertainer of the Year. He’s Male Vocalist of the Year. He’s sold millions of albums, and sold out tours,” he adds. “He’s just one of the more respected singers, and just people in the music industry and Nashville."

Shelton was just announced as a headliner for 2016 Country Jam in Grand Junction, Colo., alongside good friend Brad Paisley. The pair will also be working together on The Voice this fall — a move Shelton hopes will score him yet another win. A new season starts Sept. 21 on NBC.
