Extreme Heat Warnings for the Weekend
Marias Medical would like to remind you all to be especially aware of the dangers of extreme heat.
With the high heat warnings coming this weekend to our area - there are three primary things to pay special attention to, according to the CDC:
Stay Cool:
Wear appropriate clothing by choosing light-weight, light-colored, loose fitting clothing
Stay in an air conditioned environment as much as poss

Fishing Closures
Montana Fish Wildlife & Parks has advised anglers on two central Montana rivers that all fishing will close daily from 2 p.m. to midnight, starting Sunday, July 9 until conditions improve.
The "hoot-owl" closures are issued for:
Smith River—from the confluence of the North and South forks to Eden Bridge south of Great Falls;
Sun River—from Highway 287 Bridge to the mouth of Muddy

Montana Wolf Population Strong
Wolf numbers in Montana remained healthy in 2016 and more than three times the federally-mandated minimums.
