I graduated from Shelby High School in 1981, went into the broadcast communications program at the College of Great Falls for two years, then came to work at KSEN in the spring of 1983. I left KSEN in 1991 to not get a job with a sports team or network. I ended up with the Hardee's restaurant franchise for eight years, and in 1999 got back into radio in Great Falls. I married my wonderful wife Ronni in 2001 and came back to Shelby when she got the job as the elementary music teacher here. There happened to be a job opening at KSEN when we moved up here, so...I'm baaaackkk...

The Associated Press asks, if you had to choose between a sweetheart and a pet, which would you dump? An AP-Petside.com poll says 84 percent of current pet owners would keep the human. But a notable 14 percent would choose the pet. It makes sense that according to the poll, the unmarried are more apt to choose their pet over their mate -- 25% versus 8% married.

This weekend we're kind of following Shelby and CJI around. We're broadcasting the Shelby-Cut Bank games on KSEN Friday and Conrad-Shelby on KSEN Saturday. On K96, we have the Sunburst-CJI games Friday and CJI-Simms Saturday. Find the NFL here Sunday, with the Green Bay-Chicago game at noon followed by the Jets-Pittsburgh game.
